        Retail sales value of electric vacuum cleaning and mopping appliances came to 6.24 billion Yuan in Q1 2021, up by 40.6% year-on-year, and retail sales volume 6.83 million units, up by 18.1% year-on-year, maintaining the fast-growing momentum of 2020, according to All View Cloud.

        As to distribution channel, online channels remained its strong momentum with Spring Festival promotions launched on online platforms significantly boosted online sales in Q1. After suffering a severe shrinkage last year, offline channels picked up in Q1 2021 with a growth rate faster than online channels. The growth rate of sales value at offline market posted 47% year-on-year.

        When it comes to the performances of niche markets, robotic vacuum sector was mainly powered by mid and high end products; cordless vacuum cleaner sector was influenced by the rise of smart wet dry vacuum cleaners but still maintained a steady growth given the current low penetration rate of domestic market.

        Smart wet dry cleaner sector remained strong, accounting for 12.6% of the whole electric vacuum cleaning and mopping market in Q1, and is expected to keep the fast growth in Q2. All View Cloud predicts that retail sales value of electric vacuum cleaning and mopping market will reach 6.57 billion Yuan in Q2, up by 24.8% year-on-year.
